Welcome to Beech class.
Information for Parents and Carers
P.E
Beech class are taught P.E every week so it is very important that they have the correct P.E kit in school.
Indoor PE- Friday morning- indoor kit needed (shorts or trousers and yellow/white PE top)
Outdoor PE – Wednesday afternoon- Outdoor PE kits needed (Tracksuit bottoms and Jacket (Blue or black) yellow/white PE top, Jacket and trainers)
NO jewellery can be worn for PE. They must be removed.
Homework
Your child will be given homework every Friday. Please support your child to complete their homework and bring it back into school on Monday. At the start of new topics, children will be given a list of independent learning activities that they can complete at home which link to our topics in school. We really look forward to seeing the fantastic work that the children bring into school!
Behaviour
We expect a high standard of behaviour at all times. The school expectations, consequences and rewards will be discussed with all children at the beginning of each term. Not following the expectations affects the education of all children in the class and will be taken seriously. We use several strategies to encourage children to manage their own behaviour and to become positive role models for example, Class Dojo points, positive praise, stickers and prizes.
Throughout our time at Broadfield we focus on British Values and how these relate to our school values. Our school values are:
Belief
Respect
Our Community
Aspirations
Diversity
Friendship
Inclusion
Equality
Learning
Determination
